DescriptionAs a AWS Cloud Database Infrasturcture as Code Developer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality database administration services to App/Dev Teams, including provisioning, configuration, maintenance, and optimization of Amazon Redshift, Aurora Postgre
SQL and Document
DB Databases using Cloud Formation Templates and Terraform. You will work closely with our IT teams to assess database infrastructure, identify areas for improvement, and implement effective solutions to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
In-depth knowledge of Amazon Redshift database administration, Document
DB database administration and Aurora Postgre
SQL database administration including installation, configuration, and maintenance is necessary for the position. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex database issues;
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with internal teams are necessary.
- Develop Infrastructire as Code for provsioning, configurations, and maingtenance of Amazon Redshift, Document
DB and Aurora Postgre
SQL Databases according to best practices and requirements. Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as AWS Cloud Formation or Terraform is a must. Proficiency in scripting with Python, lambda and Step Functions. - Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies to safeguard critical data and minimize downtime. Deep understanding of database concepts and experience with Redshift, Document
DB, Aurora Postgre
SQL is a must. - Optimize database performance through query tuning, index optimization, and database schema refinement. Experience with monitoring and logging tools, particularly AWS Cloud Watch is a must.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance for Database related issues and incidents.
- Develop and implement high availability and disaster recovery solutions. Experience in administration, managing and optimizing databases like Redshift, Document
DB and Aurora Postgre
SQL. - Use of CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins to provision databases and develop solutions for developer Self Service.
- Document database configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for knowledge sharing and future reference.
- Several years (3-5+ years) of experience working with AWS cloud services, including experience with database administration and infrastructure development.
- Hands‑on experience in designing, deploying, and managing cloud infrastructure.
- Skills in database performance tuning, backup and recovery, and high availability setups.
