About the Role
Senior Designer, UX Design, Marketing to lead the creation of strategic, conceptual design solutions for Audible’s global user experiences, spanning web, app, email, and other digital surfaces. Leveraging marketing, design systems, and UX expertise to solve complex business problems while driving brand integrity, innovation, and user engagement across multiple touchpoints.
Responsibilities- Develop end‑to‑end digital experiences across Audible’s web, app, and email platforms, including interfaces, interactions, visual systems, and personalized content.
- Drive strategic design initiatives from concept and wireframes through high‑fidelity final delivery, ensuring alignment with Audible’s brand and business goals.
- Collaborate with brand, marketing, product, copy, and cross‑functional partners to generate user‑centric solutions that incorporate human insights, data, and user research.
- Present design concepts and reasoning to stakeholders, lead organization and cross‑organization reviews, and influence engineering decisions.
- Build reusable templates and components to streamline workflows and accelerate delivery while ensuring design scalability and localization.
- Maintain awareness of cultural trends, industry landscape, and emerging technologies, and recommend design strategies that advance Audible’s strategic objectives.
- Mentor and guide junior designers and peers, fostering best practices, design standards, and continuous improvement across teams.
- Integrate AI and other efficiency tools into the creative process to support innovation and production.
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Interactive Telecommunications, Interactive Design, or a related field.
- Minimum seven (7) years of senior‑level design experience (Senior Designer, Senior UX Designer, Senior Product Designer, Senior Art Director, Design Director, Associate Creative Director, or Creative Director) on global brands at an agency or client level.
- Seven (7) years of experience leading strategic creative initiatives from concept to high‑fidelity delivery.
- Seven (7) years of managing multiple complex projects, meeting deadlines, and delivering on design standards.
- Seven (7) years of proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Apple Keynote, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Seven (7) years designing experiences across digital surfaces—web, mobile app, and email.
- Seven (7) years designing multi‑touchpoint campaigns using brand and design system guidelines.
- Seven (7) years driving design review cycles and closing on requirements independently.
- Seven (7) years presenting to cross‑functional partners and leadership.
- Seven (7) years partnering with marketing teams across lifecycle, sales, promotions, and member engagement.
- Seven (7) years translating user and business needs into design solutions.
- Seven (7) years creating visual marketing for national promotions and product launches.
- Six (6) years overseeing creatives, managing internal partner relationships, and collaborating with external agencies.
- Five (5) years driving CX strategy through system design and UX/UI strategy.
- Five (5) years cross‑collaborating with brand, product, marketing, design systems, accessibility, or user research teams.
- Five (5) years designing globally scalable solutions with localizable options.
- Five (5) years proficient with Figma—concepts, flows, tech‑ready wireframes, presentations, and high‑fidelity final design.
- Five (5) years defining and advancing design standards, processes, and adoption across teams.
- Five (5) years implementing best design practices across mobile, web, and voice‑first devices, with usability principles.
