Senior C++/C# Engineer for trading environment

Akkodis is seeking Senior C++/C# Engineer for trading environment for a Contract job with a client in Jersey City, NJ - Hybrid (3 days on site in a Week). Ideally looking for applicants with a solid background in the financial services industry.

Pay: $68-70/hour – All Inclusive
. The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

• Level 3 Support of Low latency trading platform
• Interaction with Traders (AMRS)
• Escalation with Trading platform Vendor
• Application management and governance
• Maintenance of trading feeds between trading platforms and surveillance/audit systems
• Review/implement enterprise security mandates
• Review application changes and QA

• Knowledge of electronic trading systems
• Knowledge of trading systems (Futures / Bonds)
• Communication with traders
• Ability to handle stress linked to support of trading systems
• Understanding of global markets
• Knowledge of Futures , Bonds contracts
• Experience with electronic trading platforms is required
• Candidate will have to perform application test for release validation
• Environment Unix and Windows, leveraging Java for integration projects with the vendor’s system
