Position Summary
Under the direction of Management, this role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing IT procedures and objectives that support overall strategic business initiatives. This role plays a vital part in team collaboration by liaising between end-users and IT teams, fostering communication, and ensuring a seamless flow of information.
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following satisfactorily (other duties may be assigned). Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- Implements long‑term strategic plans for IT.
- Implements delivery of IT services in support of business operations, as directed.
- Sets‑up and provides help desk and support to all computer hardware, phone service, network access, and enterprise applications when needed. Provides support for other system administration functions as appropriate, including maintenance, troubleshooting, and automation. Makes self available for off‑hours troubleshooting, as needed.
- Develops and implements technical procedures effective in quickly addressing customers’ problems to minimize downtime.
- Troubleshoots Windows environments, including clients and servers, and other operating systems as necessary.
- Addresses technical issues, analyzing root causes, and making informed decisions to resolve challenges efficiently, often under time constraints.
- Carries out assessments and audits to determine the need for changes in hardware/software configurations; under direction of Management, makes appropriate configurations, installations, and changes.
- Interfaces with multiple departments and business units to prioritize and balance objectives.
- Ensures smooth delivery of IT services and solutions.
- Communicates with timely and professional responses, meeting required business deadlines.
- Recommends progressive IT solutions to enhance business needs.
- Performs technical writing for documentation or instruction.
