IT Project Manager, IT Consultant
Overview
PLM Technology Sr. Project Manager/Program Manager is a primary customer-facing role responsible for managing related pre-sales activities, requirements gathering, solution planning, project execution, solution implementation, go-live and post go-live support, as well as project close and transition of support back to Customer IT & Business teams, according to strict deadlines and within defined budget. Candidate should have worked on PTC Windchill implementation for MPMLink, PDMLink, Project Link, Parts Link, upgrade, migrations projects and exposure to the Manufacturing, Automotive and Medical devices industry.
Needs to have sound knowledge and exposure on all compliance Regulatory topics. Azure Dev Ops and cloud platform experience is a must.
- Front ending PLM PTC Windchill programs with the customer
- Contribute to pre-sales activities, project estimation, and project transition from sales team to delivery teams.
- Directly manage internal and external project initiation and mobilization activities
- Regularly communicate to all levels of Company and Customer organization
- Define and document project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders
- Develop full-scale project plans and associated communication documents
- Effectively communicate project expectations to project team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion
- Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals
- Draft and submit budget proposals, and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary
- Determine and assess need for additional project staff and/or consultants and make the appropriate recruitment if necessary, during project cycle
- Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders
- Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path
- Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools
- Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations
