Overview

Sr. Manager, Field Medical Analytics – CASA is the primary analytics partner and strategic advisor for senior medical affairs stakeholders across Oncology and Hematology therapeutic areas. The role drives complex analytics initiatives, leads a dedicated team, and partners cross‑functionally to deliver actionable insights that support Field Medical’s strategic priorities.

Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development of Field Medical Analytics strategy and translate data and insights into business solutions for both near‑term execution and long‑term objectives.
  • Design and execute analytics initiatives across go‑to‑market strategy, field execution, and medical impact measurement.
  • Serve as the primary analytics partner for senior Field Medical and Medical Affairs stakeholders and anticipate complex, novel analytics challenges.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—Medical Analytics, Commercialization Analytics, Medical Excellence, and Strategy & Operations—to align field medical analytics with broader BMS commercialization and medical strategies.
  • Analyze and synthesize advanced data sets using statistical modeling, machine learning, and advanced analytical techniques to deliver strategic, actionable intelligence on emerging trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Develop and implement innovative performance measurement frameworks and refine approaches to elevate field medical engagement outcomes and optimize go‑to‑market strategies.
  • Champion the adoption of Generative AI, predictive analytics, and NLP to improve MSL targeting, HCP engagement quality, and medical insight generation.
  • Build and deploy AI‑powered HCP segmentation and targeting models that enable personalized scientific engagement at scale.
  • Leverage NLP and Generative AI to synthesize unstructured data—including scientific literature, congress content, and real‑world evidence—into actionable insights for Field Medical teams.
  • Develop AI‑driven KOL/KEE identification and mapping capabilities to optimize Field Medical deployment and strategic prioritization.
  • Evaluate and implement predictive omnichannel engagement models to anticipate HCP needs and enable proactive delivery of relevant scientific content.
  • Partner with IT and data engineering teams to enable scalable AI/ML pipelines and deliver real‑time intelligence into Field Medical workflows and CRM platforms.
  • Monitor the competitive and regulatory landscape for AI and analytics innovation in pharma Medical Affairs and recommend new tools and approaches.
  • Lead and manage analytics teams, ensuring high‑quality results within defined timelines and budgets.
  • Lead high‑impact analytics projects interfacing with internal and external partners to ensure successful project execution and issue resolution.
  • Establish and nurture senior‑level relationships across BMS and promote best‑in‑class analytical practices and digital and AI capabilities.
  • Mentor and develop field medical analytics talent, fostering a high‑performing team culture characterized by innovation, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in business analytics, medical affairs, commercial or clinical functions, or data science with a proven track record of delivering analytics that drive stakeholder decision‑making.
  • Specialized experience in medical affairs, field medical, commercialization, drug development, and/or real‑world data is strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Medical Science, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Statistics, Engineering, Finance, or another quantitative/scientific discipline required;
    Master’s, MBA, or advanced degree preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge and hands‑on application of business analytics, predictive modeling, and data science/AI in medical affairs and field medical settings.
  • Knowledge of Generative AI, NLP, and machine learning in a Medical Affairs or commercial pharma context, with demonstrated ability to move from proof‑of‑concept to enterprise‑scale deployment.
  • Deep understanding of the value and impact that medical and field medical analytics bring to the organization.
  • Experience with field force performance analytics, targeting, and segmentation is a plus.
