ROLE SUMMARY

We are building a 360-degree partnership with one of our major Technology customers across and are seeking a senior pre-sales leader to drive joint go-to-market, solutioning, and deployments. This role leads discovery, architecture, value articulation, and pursuit orchestration for software (aligned with Red Hat) and ensures clean handoffs into delivery for successful deployments. The ideal candidate brings 15+ years of experience, strong architectural depth, and executive-level customer communication skills.

WHAT

YOU WILL DO

Note: The following responsibilities describe the role; language retained as provided where applicable, converted to allowed formatting.

  • Lead executive discovery, whiteboarding, and value-engineering sessions to shape business outcomes and success criteria
  • Own the solution narrative and competitive positioning
  • Translate architecture into clear ROI and TCO for VP and C-suite stakeholders
  • Run PoC and PoV programs with clear entry and exit criteria and measurable outcomes
Architecture and Solution Engineering
  • Design end-to-end architectures across portfolios, some examples are below:
  • Data and AI (Planning Analytics / TM1)
  • Integration and Automation (API Connect, MQ, App Connect)
  • Security (QRadar, Guardium, Trusteer)
  • Observability and Automation (Instana)
  • Red Hat platforms (Open Shift, Ansible)
  • Define deployment patterns for hybrid and multi-cloud, including performance, HA/DR, security, and compliance
  • Produce pre-sales artifacts such as:
  • Reference architectures
  • Statements of Work (SOWs)
  • Effort and cost models
  • Migration plans and Risk matrices
  • Govern solution quality through proposal reviews, RFP and RFI responses, and solution assurance gates
GTM and Alliance Orchestration
  • Co-own pipeline with customer field teams
  • Drive deal registration, joint account planning, and Q  cadences
  • Partner with Marketing and SDRs on ABM campaigns, demos, industry narratives, and customer references
  • Track funnel health and conversion metrics
  • Enable AEs and solution teams with playbooks, demo kits, and win themes aligned to prioritized customer workloads
Deployment Acceleration and Handover
  • De-risk day 0 through day 90 by leading:
  • Solution walkthroughs
  • Environment readiness reviews
  • Non-functional validation
  • Partner with Delivery and PMO to protect scope, margin, and timelines
