Overview

• Designs and implements data integration processes between Rutgers systems and services using enterprise cloud‑based services such as AWS, Heroku, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), and AI technology.
• Maintains and improves web‑based applications and integration processes, and communicates with vendor support teams as needed.
• Troubleshoots problems, works with staff and functional users to resolve issues, and ensures timely resolution of open tickets.
• Participates in change management and release management activities, identifying and reporting risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Plans and performs unit, integration, performance, and user‑acceptance testing, and applies performance optimizations.

• Minimum Education:
  
  Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Equivalent experience, education, or training may be substituted.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and detail‑oriented skills.
• Effective organizational, interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
• Ability to take charge, gain support, initiate actions, and make logical decisions.
• Proficient in object‑oriented programming with Python or Java.
• Proficient with relational database systems such as Postgre
  
  SQL, Oracle, or Maria
  
  DB.
• Experience with Django or other Python web frameworks, and with JavaScript frameworks such as React, jQuery, Vue.js, and Node.js.
• Knowledge of distributed systems architecture, messaging, and REST protocol.
• Familiarity with AWS, Heroku, OIC, and AI technology.
• Knowledgeable in version control (Git, Git Lab), Jira, and Confluence.
• Good understanding of accessibility and implementation of accessible solutions.
