Role Overview

BEPC is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Content Coordinator to support content operations for a leading digital media platform. This is a temporary, full-time position requiring onsite presence in Newark, NJ. You’ll play a pivotal role in maintaining and optimizing the audiobook catalog, ensuring high-quality content delivery to millions of listeners.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the production queue for internal and external audiobook providers.
• Collect and organize necessary assets for audiobook production.
• Track titles through various production stages and troubleshoot delays.
• Prioritize tasks based on input from stakeholders.
• Update existing audiobook records using content management systems and ONIX metadata standards.
• Implement and track post-publication updates to catalog entries.

• Strong communicator with a collaborative mindset.
• Proactive and resourceful with excellent problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree (preferably in humanities).
• 1+ year of professional proofreading or copyediting experience.
• 1+ year of experience in editorial or content operations within audiobook or podcast publishing.
• Technical proficiency in:
• Microsoft Outlook and Excel
• Windows OS and general database tools
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and work across teams.

Preferred:

• Familiarity with Airtable and ONIX metadata standards.
• Experience in SEO, digital publishing workflows, or content ingestion.
• Background in audiobook, publishing, or digital content operations.
• Exposure to project management and process improvement methodologies.
• End Date: March 13, 2026
• Pay Rate: $31.50/hour
• Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, onsite in Newark, NJ
