Overview
A growing enterprise organization is seeking a Service Now Lead to help expand and mature its enterprise service management capabilities. The organization has recently modernized its Service Now environment and is continuing to invest in workflow automation, operational excellence, and long-term platform ownership.
This role will work closely with infrastructure, architecture, and operations teams to enhance Service Now capabilities across IT service management, asset management, and change enablement. The position offers hands-on ownership, broad platform visibility, and the opportunity to influence enterprise service management initiatives.
Responsibilities- Support ongoing enhancements and optimization of the Service Now platform.
- Configure and improve workflows across ITSM, Hardware Asset Management (HAM), Software Asset Management (SAM), and Change Management.
- Assist with platform administration, configuration, upgrades, and lifecycle support.
- Partner with infrastructure and enterprise technology teams to improve operational processes.
- Drive workflow automation and process standardization initiatives.
- Improve enterprise asset lifecycle visibility and governance.
- Support change enablement, service operations, and ITIL-based operational practices.
- Develop documentation, dashboards, reporting, and platform best practices.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives across enterprise service management processes.
- 3–6 years of Service Now experience within enterprise environments.
- Hands-on experience administering and supporting ITSM workflows.
- Experience supporting Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM).
- Knowledge of Change Management processes and ITIL best practices.
- Experience participating in Service Now implementations, migrations, or platform enhancements.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and process improvement skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills.
- Experience supporting enterprise operational environments.
- Exposure to CMDB and/or IT Operations Management (ITOM).
- Experience with in highly regulated industries is preferred.
- Experience with workflow automation, scripting, or platform customization is a plus.
- Experience building dashboards, KPI reporting, and operational metrics is a plus.
- Familiarity supporting hybrid infrastructure environments is beneficial.
