We are seeking an experienced Service Now Expert to lead the design, development, and administration of our Service Now platform. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical knowledge with strong problem-solving skills, ensuring the platform aligns with business objectives, supports ITIL processes, and delivers a seamless user experience across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Platform Administration:
    Configure and maintain Service Now modules, including Incident, Problem, Change, Software Asset Management (SAM), Hardware Asset Management (HAM), Asset Management, CMDB, Service Catalog, and Knowledge Management.
  • Administer and optimize Service Now Software Asset Management (SAM) and Hardware Asset Management (HAM) processes, including software license management, hardware asset lifecycle management, asset discovery, reconciliation, and compliance.
  • Custom Development:
    Design, script, and implement new applications, workflows, and integrations to expand Service Now functionality.
  • System Integrations:
    Develop and maintain API-based integrations between Service Now and other enterprise systems.
  • Process Optimization:
    Partner with IT and business teams to refine workflows, automate processes, and improve service delivery.
  • Security & Compliance:
    Implement role-based access controls, monitor platform performance, and ensure compliance with security policies.
  • Upgrades & Maintenance:
    Plan and execute version upgrades and patching with minimal disruption.
  • Documentation & Training:
    Produce technical and user documentation; provide training to system users and administrators.
Required Qualifications
  • 4+ years of hands‑on Service Now administration and development experience.
  • Hands‑on experience with Service Now Software Asset Management (SAM) and Hardware Asset Management (HAM), including software license management, hardware asset lifecycle management, CMDB integration, asset reconciliation, and compliance.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL processes and best practices.
  • Experience with Service Now integrations using REST/SOAP web services.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Service Now Certified System Administrator (CSA).
  • Experience with ITOM Discovery, Event Management, or Performance Analytics.
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Soft Skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Additional Preferred Skills
  • Experience with Software Asset Management (SAM) Foundation/Professional
    .
  • Experience with Hardware Asset Management (HAM) Professional
    .
  • Experience integrating Discovery with CMDB
