Senior Linux Systems Engineer (Production Support

We're hiring a Linux Systems Engineer to support mission-critical enterprise software used by customers who depend on uptime. This is a hands-on production support role where you'll troubleshoot live Linux environments, investigate complex issues, work closely with engineering teams, and keep critical systems running.

This isn't a help desk position, and it isn't a pure Dev Ops role. We're looking for someone who enjoys digging into problems, working from the Linux command line, and owning issues through.

• Investigate application, OS, and infrastructure issues
• Analyze logs and perform root cause analysis
• Support VMware and cloud-based environments
• Perform patching, upgrades, and system maintenance
• Collaborate with developers, customers, and internal engineering teams
• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule (additional compensation provided)

• Strong Linux administration and command-line troubleshooting experience
• Experience supporting production systems in a 24/7 environment
• Familiarity with networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, SSH)
• Experience with Bash, Ansible, or other automation tools is a plus
• SIP/VoIP experience is helpful but not required
