Senior Manager/Team Lead, Enterprise Applications
We are seeking a strategic and transformational Senior Manager, Enterprise Applications to lead a portfolio of enterprise document services and customer communication technologies supporting critical business operations within a complex enterprise environment.
In partnership with business stakeholders, this leader will define the technology strategy, roadmap, and delivery model for a portfolio of enterprise applications supporting Document Generation, Enterprise Content Management (ECM), Document Storage & Archiving, and Enterprise Communication Services. This includes technologies responsible for document creation, management, storage, retention, and delivery across multiple communication channels including print, email, fax, SMS, and secure digital platforms.
This position will oversee approximately 45–50 technology professionals through four Team Leads responsible for Document Generation, Enterprise Content Management, Document Storage, and Communication Services. The ideal candidate is a visionary technology leader with a strong software engineering background who can modernize enterprise platforms, improve operational performance, and identify opportunities to leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI), automation, and intelligent document processing to transform how enterprise document services are delivered.
This role requires an experienced people leader who can balance strategic planning with operational execution while ensuring high levels of application availability, software quality, regulatory compliance, and customer satisfaction.
Primary Responsibilities Strategic Leadership & Business Partnership- Partner with business stakeholders to develop and execute technology and digital strategies aligned with enterprise objectives.
- Establish and maintain multi-year technology roadmaps for an enterprise application portfolio supporting document management and customer communications.
- Evaluate emerging technologies, AI capabilities, automation, and intelligent document processing solutions to improve efficiency, scalability, and customer experience.
- Lead organizational and technology transformation initiatives that modernize enterprise platforms, operating models, and delivery processes.
- Implement transparent demand management processes and prioritize technology investments based on business value.
- Lead, coach, mentor, and develop approximately 45–50 technology professionals through four Team Leads responsible for enterprise document services.
- Foster a high-performing, collaborative, and customer-focused culture while guiding teams through organizational and technology transformation.
- Manage workforce planning, recruiting, performance management, employee development, succession planning, and engagement initiatives.
- Maintain an effective balance of internal employees and onshore/offshore contract resources to meet evolving business demands.
- Promote continuous learning, innovation, accountability, and operational excellence throughout the organization.
- Direct the software development lifecycle (SDLC) across in-house developed and vendor-supported enterprise applications.
- Ensure software engineering best practices, architecture standards, testing, quality assurance, security, and release management are consistently applied throughout the application lifecycle.
- Support Agile and Scrum adoption while driving continuous improvement across development and delivery teams.
- Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, Infrastructure, Information Security, Data Governance, and other technology organizations to ensure enterprise standards are met.
- Ensure business, functional, and non-functional requirements are effectively translated into high-quality technology solutions.
- Provide strategic and operational leadership for enterprise platforms supporting:
- Document Generation and Composition
- Enterprise Content Management (ECM)
- Document Storage and Archiving
- Enterprise Communication Delivery
- Oversee technologies supporting document creation, storage, retrieval, retention, governance, and multi-channel communications.
- Drive modernization of enterprise document platforms supporting member, provider, claims, enrollment, prior authorization, appeals, and regulatory communications.
- Ensure enterprise document platforms support security, compliance, governance, auditability, and business continuity requirements.
- Manage an enterprise application portfolio consisting of multiple business-critical applications.
- Maintain 24x7 production support and ensure application availability, reliability, scalability, and operational excellence.
- Establish and monitor Service Level Agreements (SLAs), Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), operational dashboards, and continuous service improvement initiatives.
