Position Overview:

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Bankruptcy and Commercial Litigation Associate to join its dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have experience handling complex commercial disputes and bankruptcy matters and will be comfortable managing cases from inception through resolution.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent secured and unsecured creditors, trustees, debtors, and other stakeholders in bankruptcy proceedings.
• Handle litigation matters in federal and state courts, including adversary proceedings and contested matters in Bankruptcy Court.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and develop case strategies.
• Appear in court hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials.
• Advise clients on creditors’ rights, insolvency issues, loan enforcement, foreclosures, workouts, and restructuring matters.

Qualifications:

• Active bar admission in New York and New Jersey
• 2–6 years of experience in bankruptcy and/or commercial litigation (preferred)
