We are seeking an analytical and goal-oriented Director of Supply Chain to join our growing team.
Responsibilities- Lead the strategic planning and execution of supply chain, purchasing, and procurement activities
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to grow the supplier database
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers to optimize value
- Oversee logistics, inventory management, and demand forecasting
- Implement process improvements and technological processes to enhance efficiency in line with the company’s overall goals and objectives
- Collaborate with other departments to align supply chain strategies with overall business goals
- Manage and mentor the supply chain and purchasing team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
- Devise strategies for ensuring the growth of programs enterprise-wide
- Submit weekly reports to upper management
- 10+ years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
- Expertise in global supply chain management and international trade regulations
- Proficiency in supply chain software (e.g., Mysis, SAP, Oracle) and ERP systems (e.g., Sage)
- Proven track record of improving supply chain processes
- Expertise in strategic sourcing and vendor management
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field is preferred
- Certifications in supply chain management preferred
