Director Of Logistics
A manufacturing company is seeking a high-impact Director of Logistics to oversee end-to-end logistics operations across both warehouse and office functions. This role is responsible for ensuring all product movement - domestic and international - is executed on time, cost-effectively, and with a consistently high level of service. The Director will lead large warehouse operations, across day and night shifts, and an office logistics team, while partnering cross-functionally to align logistics with production and drive a forward-looking strategy.
Responsibilities include owning end-to-end logistics performance across inbound, outbound, and inter-warehouse movements, ensuring on-time delivery and operational efficiency. Lead and develop warehouse (day/night shifts) and office logistics teams, driving accountability and performance. Oversee transportation strategy, including routing, carrier management, and cost control. Drive continuous improvement through KPIs, analytics, and optimization of systems (WMS/TMS) and processes.
Skills:
Strong leadership with the ability to manage large, multi-layered teams. Deep understanding of warehouse operations, transportation, and supply chain logistics. Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and systems skills (WMS, TMS, ERP). Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities. Requirements include 5+ years leading logistics/shipping in a high-volume manufacturing or distribution environment. Proven experience managing both warehouse operations and office-based logistics teams. Strong knowledge of inbound/outbound freight, domestic and international shipping.
Track record of improving on-time delivery, reducing costs, and optimizing logistics performance. Experience managing carriers, brokers, and third-party logistics partners. Strong communication skills in English;
Spanish a plus. Highly organized, results-driven, and capable of operating at a senior leadership level.
