We are seeking a Director of Sales who is ready to take the reins of our retail-focused sales and customer service teams and drive the next stage of growth. This is a hands-on, strategic leadership role: you will not only manage a talented team of sales representatives and customer service professionals, but also take personal ownership of key accounts and growth initiatives.

- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 4 sales representatives and 3 customer service professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, high performance, and collaboration.
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to drive growth within the independent retail channel, including pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting.
- Personally manage high-value accounts, building strong, long-term relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
- Monitor team metrics, set clear targets, and provide regular feedback to ensure goals are met or exceeded.
- Track market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to identify new opportunities and optimize sales performance.
- Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate customer service, order fulfillment, and overall client satisfaction.
- Recruit, train, and develop team members to maintain a high-performing, motivated sales organization.
- Take ownership of revenue growth, margin, and profitability within the retail segment, ensuring measurable results.
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience managing a sales team in a retail, wholesale, or distribution environment.
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets and driving measurable revenue growth.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, coach, and retain top talent.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strategic thinker who can translate business objectives into actionable sales plans.
- Comfortable managing high-value accounts while overseeing a team.
- Proficiency with sales CRM tools, reporting, and performance analytics.
- Able to thrive in a dynamic, collaborative office environment with a fast-paced sales cycle.
- Base Salary: $140,000–$150,000 per year
- On-Target Earnings (OTE): $200,000
