10 is currently seeking a Program Manager for a hybrid contract position located in Newark, NJ. Compensation: $90-$97/hour W2 dependent on experience
This role involves providing program management oversight for energy efficiency projects within a Major Utility Company. The ideal candidate will manage scope, schedule, and budget in compliance with BPU Orders and client procedures, ensuring projects meet all program requirements including cost-effectiveness. This position requires interfacing with associates, vendors, customers, and consultants to maintain program rules and deliver a high level of customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities- Provide program management oversight over scope, schedule and budget of energy efficiency projects
- Ensure projects meet all program requirements, including project scope and cost effectiveness
- Develop and maintain the processes for implementing energy efficiency projects and programs
- Interface with associates, vendors, customers and outside consultants to assure program rules and requirements are maintained
- Perform and oversee program and project QA/QC as required; apply knowledge in energy savings measures and techniques
- Manage customer relationships to provide program services with a high level of customer satisfaction
- Coordinate and direct the activities of vendors and contractors, review deliverables, monitor performance, and process invoices
- Ensure vendor and employee compliance with safety protocols and practices
- Compile and analyze data from various projects to monitor the status of customer projects and report to management
- Analyze performance results for management reports and provide monthly project status forecasts
- Perform project site visits as required
- Assist with special projects and ad hoc requests as necessary
- B.S. Degree plus 5 years of experience in energy efficiency programs, construction, or related fields OR in lieu of a degree, 9 years of experience in the same fields
- Experience processing milestone-based construction payments and forecasting financial spend
- Knowledge of energy efficiency measures, implementation, and cost
- Demonstrated excellent communication skills (oral and written)
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel & MS Word)
- Commitment to process improvement and attention to detail
- Knowledge of CEF energy efficiency orders and related frameworks such as the NJ Cost Test
- Able to travel within the service territory to conduct meetings, perform inspections, and manage relationships
- Valid US driver s license
- Vendor management and invoicing skills
- Building Performance Institute Certifications
- Certified Energy Manager
