- Direct day‑to‑day coordination of trade contractors and sub‑contractors to ensure high‑quality work that meets the approved schedule.
- Manage the project budget for general conditions and site services.
- Develop, document, and communicate the work plan regarding changes made in the field.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of contract documents to proactively anticipate problems.
- Obtain or verify that subcontractors secure all necessary permits.
- Act as the primary safety representative in the field and enforce compliance with all trades.
- Develop safety strategies and drive a safety‑first culture across the entire crew.
- Conduct maintenance and planning of workarounds, shutdowns, and tie‑ins.
- Build credibility among owners, trade contractors, unions, and partners by maintaining a fair environment.
- Resolve jurisdictional disputes with support from the Senior General Superintendent or Construction Executive.

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
- 10–15 years of experience on $30‑$100 million commercial/industrial construction projects or in multiple lead superintendent roles.
- OSHA 30‑hour certified.
- STS‑C Certification.
