Position: Contract Manufacturing Manager

Stelvio are working with a high-growth technology company that is transforming vehicle inspection through advanced AI, computer vision, and machine learning. The Role

The role will take ownership of contract manufacturing operations, ensuring alignment across quality, cost, and delivery. You will work closely with external manufacturing partners, driving performance through clear metrics while ensuring production processes support wider business objectives.

Reporting into senior supply chain leadership, you will play a key role in maintaining operational efficiency, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring products are delivered to a high standard.

Responsibilities
  • Manage relationships with contract manufacturing partners, ensuring alignment with operational and business objectives
  • Define and monitor KPIs across quality, cost, and delivery performance
  • Ensure products are delivered on time, within budget, and to required quality standards
  • Lead quarterly business reviews (QBRs) with manufacturing partners to assess and improve performance
  • Identify and implement process improvements across manufacturing operations
  • Work closely with Quality teams to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards
  • Support contract negotiations and cost optimisation initiatives
  • Proactively identify and mitigate supply chain risks
  • Collaborate with Product, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to ensure smooth execution of manufacturing activities
  • Plan and manage manufacturing capacity to meet demand
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain
  • Support material purchasing requirements, including ECO and FCO processes
Qualifications
  • 5–7 years’ experience in contract manufacturing or supply chain within a high-tech or complex environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Business Administration
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control systems
  • Experience managing supplier performance using data-driven KPIs
  • Proven ability to negotiate contracts and manage costs effectively
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence internal teams and external partners
  • Certifications such as APICS, Lean Six Sigma, or PMP are advantageous
  • Willingness to travel up to 20%
