Systems Engineer
Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and manage scalable PKI solutions.
- Lead certificate lifecycle management strategies and deploy optimized processes.
- Collaborate with tech leads and product owners to ensure robust security and seamless operations.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with PKI systems.
- Lead automation efforts to streamline PKI processes.
- Mentor junior engineers and partners within the enterprise.
- Deliver seamless PKI integration across various platforms.
- Monitor and maintain PKI systems to ensure continuous improvement and innovation.
- Act as a subject matter expert in PKI architecture and operations.
- Participate in on‑call rotation.
- Bachelor of Computer Science or Engineering or experience in related fields.
- Extensive experience in PKI architecture and certificate lifecycle management tools such as Keyfactor Command, Venafi, EJBCA, Digicert, and Hashi Corp Vault.
- Experience with HSM appliances and cloud KMS services.
- Experience in global systems in on‑premise, cloud ecosystems (AWS and Azure), and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Proficiency with monitoring tools (Splunk).
- Strong leadership skills with experience in mentoring and managing technical teams.
- Ability to drive innovation and improvements in enterprise security frameworks.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP) are highly regarded.
- Excellent problem‑solving abilities and a proactive approach to security challenges.
The salary range for this role is from $ to $. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills.
