Position: Operator Driver I, II & III - Line Operations
The Passaic Valley Sewerage Commission (P.V.S.C.), a publicly-owned wastewater treatment facility located in Newark, New Jersey, is currently accepting applications for experienced Operator/Drivers. Created in 1902, PVSC is the 5th largest facility of its kind in the United States, directly serving approximately 1.4 million residents in 48 municipalities located in Bergen, Essex, Hudson, Passaic and Union Counties. The 140-acre plant is designed to treat an average of 330 million gallons per day (“mgd”) of wastewater with an annual average flow of approximately 241 mgd

Position Summary:

Responsible for driving and operating various Line Operations Department vehicles as well as maintaining and operating the component parts of the collection system.
