Processor Operator - 1st Shift

Newark, NJ 07105 $ 20 - $22 / Hour Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm

The Processing Operator is responsible for effectively blending, operating and cleaning all equipment used to process, store, and prepare product to ensure conformance to requirements. Job Responsibilities for a Processing Operator

• Mix or blend compound or process ingredients according to formulas
• Read work orders to determine production specifications or information
• Observe production or monitor equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation
• Operate automated CIP systems and processes for storage tanks, lines, filling equipment.
• Follow and comply with applicable good manufacturing policies
• Assisting all other with tasks and duties within the department.
• Understand and comply with all GMP policies

Job Requirements Processor Operator:

• 1+ year experience in a GMP manufacturing facility
• Strong attention to detail.
• Computer literate.
• Able to instantly recognize when factors are outside acceptable parameters.
• Understand all Standard Operating Procedures.
• Understand and obey all Good Manufacturing Practice.
