Learn how you can start or jumpstart your career with us. Our Newark, Delaware site is hiring a Polish Lab Technician to play a key role in supporting cleanroom operations and laboratory trials.
- Support clean room operations to facilitate electronic material polishing trials from a team of scientists and engineers
- Experimental set up and tear town, lab housekeeping, and hazardous waste disposal
- Operation of metrology such as SEM, AFM, film thickness tools
- Record test information in LIMS system and communicate with trial owners.
- First level troubleshooting and maintenance of electropneumatic equipment.
- Collaborate with team to organize pre and post-trial measurement duties
- A minimum of a high school diploma or GED is required
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications, such as Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Effective interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Independent problem solving, strong attention to detail, and safety oriented attitude.
- Good computer skills with the ability to learn new software.
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) & quality protective equipment
- Ability to work in a class 10 cleanroom environment and comfortable wearing a cleanroom suit
- Stand for extended periods of time while operating machinery
- Lifting > 20-30 lb. occasionally
- Associate degree in a technical field
- Mechanical aptitude and experiences with high tech machinery
- Experience handling chemicals
M-F 3:00pm- 11:30pm
