Final Assembly – Flemington, New Jersey Area | On-Site | Full-Time
Starting Compensation: $21+/hour
A well-established U.S.
-based electronics manufacturer is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Production Assembler to join its Final Assembly team.
This position supports the production of sophisticated electronic and electro-mechanical products used in advanced applications. The successful candidate will perform hands‑on assembly work according to specifications using hand and power tools, wiring diagrams, work orders, and verbal, visual, and tablet-based instructions.
Because of the technical nature of the products, the position includes significant hands‑on training and interaction with manufacturing and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities- Use hand and power tools to secure assemblies to chassis and connect components using wire harnesses.
- Work within push-line or batch-production processes to combine tasks, reduce tool changes, and improve production efficiency.
- Use wire‑splicing and crimping tools to complete wire harnesses.
- Follow established verbal, visual, and tablet-based work instructions.
- Read work orders and follow Bills of Materials (BOMs) and Bills of Operations.
- Assemble electro‑mechanical products and final‑assembly components according to specifications.
- Maintain quality and accuracy while following established manufacturing and safety procedures.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Good mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand and power tools.
- Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic mathematics.
- Ability to follow manufacturing instructions and work effectively in a production environment.
- At least 1 year of relevant manufacturing or assembly experience preferred.
- Experience with crimping, soldering, wiring, and electro‑mechanical assembly preferred.
- Familiarity with Bills of Materials (BOMs), assembly drawings, work orders, and related manufacturing documentation preferred.
