The American Red Cross New Jersey Region is seeking Disaster Action Team (DAT) volunteers to assist individuals facing emergencies. Volunteers will deliver essential resources, emotional support, and guidance to families starting their recovery after disasters, such as home fires.
This role requires a commitment of 5–10 hours per week with on-call shifts. Volunteers will work closely with Red Cross leadership and must complete online training. Assignments will be based on local Disaster Action Teams in North Jersey counties.
