The Director of Patient Care is responsible for coordinating the clinical activities of the Wound Care Center. This includes patient care assessment, planning and implementation, and quality improvement work. The position collaborates with the Administrative Director and the Medical Director to meet program objectives and ensure optimal healing outcomes and patient satisfaction.

• Active New Jersey RN licensure or Compact state licensure with the ability to practice in New Jersey is required.
• Previous experience in wound care in an acute care or clinic setting is required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred;
  Associate’s degree required.
• BLS from the American Heart Association is required.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience is preferred.
• Wound care certification preferred.

• Full‑Time, Day Shift

• Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to review patients with high‑end devices and provides quality review.
• Leads and participates in process improvement for the program and clinical outcomes.
• Maintains patient, outcome, and complication databases and submits them to the national registry as required.
• Provides comprehensive guidance on the appropriate use of temporary devices to enable safe and positive patient outcomes.
• Maintains files, minutes, and quality presentations in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Refers patients to other disciplines as appropriate.
• Integrates research‑based knowledge and clinical expertise into decision‑making.
• Exemplifies a professional image in appearance, manner, and presentation.
• Advocates for patients, families, coworkers, and the community.
• Maintains licensure certifications and continuing education as required.
• Participates in unit/departmental/divisional or hospital committees/task forces as appropriate.
• Assists the critical care educator in developing programs to meet continuing education needs.
