QualificationsRequired Qualifications
- ASN or Nursing Diploma
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Proficient computer skills
- BSN
- Minimum 2 years of hospital experience
- Active NJ RN license or compact RN license with NJ endorsement
- BLS from the American Heart Association
- Evening Shift, 37.5 hours
- Full Time
- Monday - Friday, every other weekend and holiday rotation
- The Registered Nurse provides nursing care within the scope of practice defined by the Nurse Practice Act and regulatory standards, ensuring awareness of ethical standards of practice as defined by the ANA code of ethics.
- The Registered Nurse assures safety in practice and incorporates evidence-based practice principles by maintaining a realization of own individual level of knowledge and experience, assuming responsibility for advancing knowledge of self and others on the patient care team through communication and using available resource persons and programs.
- The Registered Nurse reports identified safety issues such as hazardous environments and medical errors.
- The Registered Nurse is responsible for knowledge of the patient population served.
- The Registered Nurse supervises and directs the delegation of tasks to appropriate team members, collaborating with other patient care providers.
- The Registered Nurse consistently sets and evaluates priorities through appropriate interventions with measurable outcomes toward improvement.
- The Registered Nurse is an individual practitioner and interdisciplinary team manager, utilizing the nursing process to integrate all aspects of care and individualize the plan for each patient’s needs.
