Job Overview

Essential Functions

The role of the Professional Registered Nurse is to provide quality nursing care in collaboration with the medical staff and within the guidelines of the New Jersey State Nurse Practice Act. The nurse implements the hospital’s mission and goal through established policies, procedures, and performance‑improvement activities, delivering individualized, age‑specific nursing care to patients in an assigned unit. A foundational understanding of growth and development is required to assess patients’ needs and determine appropriate treatment modalities.

Qualifications

Required:

  • ASN/ADN
  • New graduates welcome!
  • Strong communication and organizational skills

Preferred:

  • BSN
  • One year of medical‑surgical nursing experience in an oncology unit
  • Epic experience is a plus
Certification and License Requirements
  • Active NJ RN license or willingness to obtain
  • BLS certification through the American Heart Association
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
  • Chemo certification or willingness to obtain within first year of employment
Scheduling Requirements
  • Day shift
  • 7:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.
  • Full‑time
  • Weekend requirement
