Pay Range: $47.85 – $64.04 per hour (based on experience)

The above reflects the anticipated hourly wage range for this position if hired to work in New Jersey. The compensation offered will depend on educational background, skills, and experience.

First established in 1901, Newark Beth Israel Medical Center is a 665‑bed qua ternary teaching hospital that provides comprehensive care. The Behavioral Health Float Pool supports NBI’s behavioral health teams during nights.

• ASN required; BSN preferred
  
  New Jersey Registered Nurse license and/or approved compact license required
• BLS from the American Heart Association required
• Behavioral Health experience required

• Full‑time: 36 hours per week
• Night shift: 7 p.m. – 7 a.m.
• Every other weekend

• Provide nursing care within scope of practice, following ethical standards.
• Maintain evidence‑based practice and advance knowledge through communication and resources.
• Report safety issues such as hazardous environments and medical errors.
• Know the patient population served.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to team members, collaborating with other providers.
• Prioritize interventions with measurable outcomes.
• Use nursing process to individualize care plans.
