Key Responsibilities:

* Conduct psychiatric evaluations, diagnose mental health conditions, and develop individualized treatment plans

* Manage medication regimens, monitor patient progress, and adjust treatments as necessary

* Collaborate with psychiatrists, medical professionals, and behavioral health teams to provide holistic care

* Provide crisis intervention and stabilization for patients in an acute psychiatric setting

* Educate patients and families about treatment plans and mental health management

* Maintain thorough documentation and comply with hospital policies and state regulations

Qualifications:

* Licensed Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) in the state of New Jersey or eligible for licensure

* Master's or Doctorate in Nursing with a psychiatric specialization

* Experience in inpatient psychiatric care preferred

* Strong clinical assessment and crisis management skills

* Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
