Pediatric Nurse Practitioner – Outpatient Locum
Well‑respected healthcare facility in the Newark, NJ area is seeking a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner for outpatient locum coverage starting ASAP for 3‑6+ months.
- Board Certified Nurse Practitioner (PNP or FNP)
- Full‑time coverage, Monday‑Friday, with a mix of 9a‑5p or 11a‑7p shifts and at least one Saturday 9a‑5p per month (will have 1 day off during the week if working on a Saturday)
- Set monthly schedule
- No on‑call duties
- 100% outpatient care
- See patients from newborn to 18 years old
- Typical volume: approximately 24 patients per day
- Minimum 1+ year of pediatric NP outpatient experience
- Active NJ license, NJ Medicaid number (facility can assist if not available), DEA, and CDS (NJ controlled substance)
- Vaccinated with booster
