Position Summary
Nurse Manager – Behavioral Health (Brooklyn, NY)
Direct Hire
Location:
Brooklyn, NY
Shift: Mon–Fri 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
Salary: $145K–$160K
We are seeking an experienced Nurse Manager – Behavioral Health for a direct hire opportunity with Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee daily operations of the behavioral health unit
- Ensure compliance with NYSDOH, JCAHO, and other regulatory standards
- Manage admissions, discharges, and care planning
- Lead performance improvement initiatives and data reporting
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes
- Provide administrative leadership and staff supervision
- 5+ years of RN experience
- 5+ years of experience in psychiatry
- 2+ years of leadership experience
- Experience managing a psych unit within a hospital setting
- Active NY RN License, BLS & ACLS
