We currently need compassionate, energetic, and dedicated South Carolina Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to join our growing team.

What You’ll Do

What We’re Looking For
  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse’s Assistant program
  • Active and unencumbered South Carolina CNA certification
  • Current CPR certification
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Compassion, reliability, and a desire to provide high‑quality care
  • Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
General Purpose

Provide each assigned resident with routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with the resident’s assessment and care plan, and as may be directed by supervisors.

Essential Duties
  • Identify residents before administering treatments, serving meals, etc., using wristband or photo card file
  • Use only authorized abbreviations for recording information
  • Report all changes in residents’ condition to Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse promptly
  • Record all entries on flow sheets, notes, charts in an informative, descriptive manner
  • Report all accidents and incidents observed on the shift
  • Maintain confidentiality of protected health information and report suspected violations
  • Perform only nursing care procedures for which the employee is trained
  • Ensure residents’ rooms are ready for occupancy (bed made, name tags up, admission kit available)
  • Greet residents and escort them to their room
  • Introduce residents to roommates and other personnel as appropriate
  • Make residents comfortable and inventory/mark personal possessions as instructed
  • Assist residents with packing personal possessions when transferred to a new room or discharged
  • Transport residents to new rooms or receiving area and assist with loading/unloading to vehicles as necessary
  • Create and maintain an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest, and positive emphasis during the unit and shift
  • Meet with shift nursing personnel regularly to identify and correct problem areas or improve services
  • Report all complaints and grievances made by residents
  • Participate in and receive nursing reports as instructed
  • Follow established policies concerning exposure to blood/body fluids
  • Make beds as instructed and provide extra covers when requested
  • Measure and record residents’ temperatures, pulses, respirations, weight, and height as instructed
  • Check residents who cannot call for help frequently, answer calls promptly, and check routines for personal care needs
  • Assist residents with food arrangements and record food/fluid intake
  • Keep residents’ water pitchers clean and filled with fresh water on each shift
  • Perform after‑meal care (remove trays, clean hands, face, clothing)
  • Assist residents with daily functions (dental and mouth care, bathing, combing hair, dressing, undressing)
  • Keep residents dry by changing gowns, clothing and linens as needed
  • Assist residents in preparing for medical tests, including lab work, x‑ray, therapy, dental
  • Assist with lifting, turning, moving, positioning, and transporting residents in and out of beds, chairs, bathtubs, wheelchairs, lifts
  • Perform restorative and rehabilitative procedures as instructed
  • Assist in preparing residents for physical examinations
