Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Role & Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care based on care plans developed by the supervising RN and physician's orders.
- Administer prescribed medications in accordance with state regulations and physician instructions.
- Document observations, nurses' notes, and other required records in patients' charts.
- Revise care plans as directed by the supervising nurse and reinforce physician and nurse instructions to patients and caregivers.
- Follow universal precautions and safety procedures during procedures.
- Licensed as an LPN in the State of New Jersey.
- Strong documentation and communication skills.
- Ability to follow care plans and safety protocols.
- Deliver compassionate, team-oriented patient care in a friendly environment.
