Position: Registered Nurse – Ambulatory Care/Clinic/Outpatient

$2213.40/week -

Job Summary:

Provides comprehensive adult medical oncology, gynecologic oncology, and hematology nursing care in a clinic setting. Manages procedures such as bone marrow biopsies, port access, central line blood draws, and hormonal therapy, ensuring high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform adult oncology assessments, screenings, and treatments including port access and central line blood draws.
  • Conduct and assist with bone marrow biopsies, GYN biopsies, Pap tests, colposcopies, pelvic exams, and colostomy care.
  • Administer medications such as neupogen, hormonal therapies, and manage patient symptoms and side effects.
  • Document all patient interactions and procedures accurately in Epic electronic medical records.
  • Monitor patient responses to treatments, provide patient education, and ensure safety protocols are followed.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and manage multiple priorities.

Qualifications:

  • Valid New Jersey or Compact RN license at the time of submission.
  • Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in adult medical oncology or hematology.
  • BLS certification must be current at the time of submission.
  • Proficiency in Epic electronic health record system required.
  • Ability to access ports, perform blood draws, and manage oncology treatments.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to float within skill set as needed.
