Day shift, 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30)
Job Description:
The CVOR RN will be responsible for circulating and scrubbing within the Hybrid Room, with an emphasis on various cardiovascular procedures. This role requires collaboration with multidisciplinary teams in a high-acuity surgical environment, ensuring patient safety and effective surgical outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Circulate and scrub for complex cardiovascular and transplant surgeries.
- Assist in performing valve replacements, CABG, TAVR, and endovascular surgeries.
- Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to safety protocols.
- Utilize EPIC for charting and maintaining patient records.
- Participate in on-call rotation as required.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Active NJ or Compact RN license required at the time of submission.
- 2.5 years of experience in CVOR required;
Hybrid Room experience preferred. - Some degree of transplant experience preferred (cardiac, lung, and/or kidney).
- Certification in BLS required.
- Experience with EPIC charting system is mandatory.
