Are you an experienced Pediatric Registered Nurse looking for a flexible per diem opportunity where you can make a meaningful impact?

Affirmed Home Care is expanding its Pediatric Division and is seeking a Per Diem Pediatric RN to support our growing team and assist our full-time Pediatric RN Care Manager with oversight of pediatric cases throughout:

• Mercer County
• Middlesex County
• Monmouth County
• Ocean County

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced pediatric RN who enjoys field-based nursing, autonomy, clinical oversight, and providing personalized care to pediatric clients in their homes.

• $45–$150 per hour, depending on the nursing task and assignment
• Per diem flexibility
• Day, evening, and weekend opportunities available
• Primarily field-based
• Growing Pediatric Division
• Opportunity to support complex pediatric home care cases
• Collaborative clinical team
• Meaningful work supporting pediatric clients and their families

• Ensure the highest quality of client care
• Develop and update individualized care plans
• Obtain necessary physician orders for home care cases as required by state regulations
• Monitor and report changes in the client’s medical or mental condition to the attending physician and Agency care team
• Supervise and support the nursing home care team
• Conduct weekly nursing orientations
• Conduct nursing competency assessments in the office or in the client’s home, as needed
• Support the overall clinical needs of pediatric clients
• Promote client safety, independence, and quality of life in the home environment

• Current New Jersey RN license in good standing
• BSN preferred
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of recent pediatric clinical home care experience
• Recent hands-on experience with advanced pediatric clinical skills, including:
  • Pediatric ventilator management
  • Tracheostomy care
  • G-tube/PEG tube care
  • IV infusions
  • Wound care
• Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills
• Excellent communication and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently in a field-based environment
• Experience supervising and supporting clinical staff
• Strong attention to detail and a client-first mindset

• Physical examination completed within the past year
• PPD or QuantiFERON-TB test completed within the past year, or a chest X-ray completed within the past five years
• MMR immunization within the past 10 years
