Join Aff…Affirmed Home Care is hiring experienced Pediatric Behavioral Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide 1:1 nursing care for a 13-year-old pediatric client with Autism and seizure needs in Newark, NJ.
This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse who enjoys working one-on-one with pediatric clients and is comfortable providing behavioral support, seizure management, medication administration, and compassionate hands-on care in a home setting.
COMPETITIVE PAY- Registered Nurse (RN): $45/hour
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN): $40/hour
- Location: Newark, NJ
- Client: 13-year-old pediatric client
- Setting: 1:1 Home Care
- Clinical Needs: Autism, seizure management, medication administration
- Schedule: Monday–Thursday
- Shifts Available:
- 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM
- 10:30 PM – 8:00 AM
- Evening and overnight opportunities available
As a Pediatric Behavioral Health Nurse, you will provide individualized nursing care while supporting the client's safety, comfort, and daily needs.
QUALIFICATIONSFor RN and LPN candidates:
- Current New Jersey RN or LPN license
- Pediatric nursing experience preferred
- Experience working with children with Autism or behavioral needs strongly preferred
- Experience with seizure management and medication administration
- Current BLS Certification
- Strong clinical and communication skills
- Dependable, patient, compassionate, and attentive
- Comfortable providing one-on-one care in a home environment
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Valid driver's license preferred
Candidates must be able to provide:
- Physical examination completed within the past 12 months
- PPD or QuantiFERON completed within the past 12 months, or chest X‑ray within the past 5 years
- Proof of flu vaccination or approved exemption
- RN: $45/hour
- LPN: $40/hour
- Evening and overnight shifts available
- Dedicated 1:1 pediatric nursing
