Job Description
The Inventory Cycle Counter is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting audit readiness, investigating discrepancies, and ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and documentation requirements. This role works closely with associates and managers to troubleshoot inventory issues, maintain records and procedures, and support continuous improvement across warehouse and quality processes.
Responsibilities- Ensure audit preparedness.
- Troubleshoot cases with issues.
- Update and maintain the training matrix for all associates.
- Maintain all records and written procedures of quality systems, including standard operating procedures and monthly quality training.
- Ensure all SOPs are up to date and reviewed as required.
- Ensure all appropriate documentation and communication comply with quality requirements.
- Ensure all documentation regarding internal audits is current.
- Report and inform associates of corrective actions that comply with quality control requirements.
- Report safety non-conformance issues.
- Assure inventory accuracy and compliance for all accounts.
- Identify, research, and correct unique inventory occurrences.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies found through cycle counts and determine root cause.
- Use warehouse and inventory systems such as Swiss Log, SAP, PKMS, and Manhattan.
- Follow corporate and site-specific Good Manufacturing Practices and report non-compliance when observed.
- Observe all company safety rules and assist in enforcement as appropriate.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of experience and education.
- Two years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and email applications.
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment appropriate for the work environment in accordance with safety policies.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from associates, managers, regulatory agencies, and the general public.
- Ability to speak effectively with individuals at all levels within and external to the company and read and interpret safety rules, operating manuals, and procedure manuals.
- Comfortable with arithmetic operations in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percent and generate and interpret graphs.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Through compliance instruction and systematic completion of all associate training and record‑keeping, superior organizational skills are critical.
- Sunday – Wednesday
- 7:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
- $22.50 per hour
- $1.50 shift differential for hours worked
