Leasing Agent

A Wiss Real Estate client is seeking a Leasing Agent to join their team in Middlesex County, NJ
. This position oversees a luxury residential community and plays a key role in leasing activities, property tours, and tenant relations. In this role, you will handle prospective tenant inquiries, conduct property tours, process rental applications, and provide outstanding customer service throughout the leasing process. The ideal candidate is sales-oriented, organized, and personable, thriving in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

• Greet and engage prospective residents
• Conduct personalized property tours that highlight the community’s amenities, floor plans, and lifestyle benefits.
• Respond promptly to all leasing inquiries via phone, email, and online platforms.
• Process rental applications, verify applicant qualifications, and prepare lease documents accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain up-to-date records of all leasing activity, resident interactions, renewals, and move‑ins/outs using property management software.
• Collaborate closely with the Maintenance team to ensure apartments are ready for showings and move‑ins.
• Assist in executing community marketing initiatives, including social media posts, outreach events, online listings, and signage.
• Conduct regular market research to stay informed about local rental trends and competitor offerings.
• Support resident relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and assisting with lease renewals and retention efforts.
• Ensure compliance with state and local regulations, and company policies.

• High school diploma or equivalent required;
  Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in leasing, property management, or sales
• Excellent communication, customer service, and sales skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and property management software (e.g., Yardi, App Folio, Real Page, or similar).
• Strong organizational skills
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

$60,000–$70,000 commensurate with experience
