Job ResponsibilitiesAs a Flow Cytometrist I, you will support clinical study assays and daily laboratory operations by:
- Receiving and logging clinical specimens with accuracy.
- Processing samples for analysis or storage according to protocol.
- Operating flow cytometry instruments under established procedures.
- Executing structured, high‑throughput assay workflows.
- Applying validated analysis templates to generate consistent datasets.
- Maintaining inspection‑ready documentation in alignment with SOPs and quality standards.
- Supporting general lab operations to ensure smooth workflow.
- Completing required training and demonstrating assay competency.
This is a highly collaborative, sponsor‑embedded clinical laboratory setting. Teamwork is essential to lab success.
You will work closely with scientific and operational colleagues daily, in a setting that values open communication and mutual respect, shared accountability, structured training, mentorship from experienced scientists, and a team‑first mindset where everyone contributes.
What You Bring Required:- Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Immunology, or a related scientific field.
- Hands‑on laboratory experience (internship, co‑op, or early industry experience).
- Foundational experience with flow cytometry (sample preparation, acquisition, or basic operation).
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous documentation habits.
- Comfort working in a regulated laboratory environment.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Industry, CRO, biotech, or pharmaceutical laboratory experience.
- Exposure to immunology coursework or research.
- Experience with assay execution or validation.
- Familiarity with Flow Jo, FCS Express, or similar analysis software.
- Experience using electronic laboratory notebooks (ELNs).
- Experience working within GLP/GCP‑aligned environments.
