Summary
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Visiting Researcher within Radiation Oncology at the Rutgers Cancer Institute. Under the direction of the Principal Investigator, the Visiting Researcher will conduct experimental and computational analyses to confirm the tissue specificity of selected ligands, enabling the development of new therapeutic agents and diagnostic tools for use in oncology and other diseases.
The Visiting Researcher will support the project as it aims to create a comprehensive map of mammalian vasculature to identify and systematically validate tissue- or cell-specific peptides. By combining intravenous administration of phage-displayed peptide libraries in human and model organism subjects and next-generation, high-throughput sequencing to detect bound library peptides within tissues, the team will generate an integrated database of ligands.
