Temporary Research Assistant (Multiple Vacancies)
Rutgers School of Health Professions (SHP) is seeking a Temporary Research Assistant to work in the Department Rehabilitation and Movement Sciences. The Temporary Research Assistant will assist with the day-to-day operations and the ongoing research projects in the Kaleidoscope Lab. The Temporary Research Assistant will also report to the Principal Investigator. Additionally, the Temporary Research Assistant will work on IRB protocols, data collection and analysis, participant recruitment, and/or assist with preparation of research abstracts, manuscripts, posters and oral presentations.
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:
- Assists in the development and renewal of IRB protocols.
- Assists in data collection and data analysis.
- Assists with participant recruitment and assessment.
- Conducts literature searches as assigned.
- Completes developmental assessments on adolescents and young adults with Down syndrome.
- Assists in preparation of research abstracts and manuscript drafts, revisions, and submission in collaboration with the PI and graduate students.
- Assists in preparation of posters and/or oral presentations as required in collaboration with the PI and graduate students.

Salary Details - $18/hour is budgeted for this position
Minimum Salary - 15.92
Mid Range Salary - 75.00
Maximum Salary - 150.00

Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience
- Bachelor of Arts or Science in Public Health, Nutrition, Psychology, Biomedical Sciences, or related field required;

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Must be willing to have a flexible working schedule for participant assessment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Masters preferred.

Physical Demands and Work Environment - PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Standing, sitting, walking, talking and hearing. Ability to lift 25 lbs. WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Office Environment, moderate noise. Standard computer, phone, and internet access. Data processing licenses will be provided.
