Posting Summary
The Department of Psychology in the School of Arts and Sciences-Newark seeksa Post-Doctoral Associate under the supervision of Dr. Luis M. Rivera, Professor of Psychology and Vice Provost for Academic Innovation, the Post-Doctoral Associate will be mainly responsible for contributing to Rutgers-Newark'sSTE[A]M broadening participation and persistence initiatives. The Post-Doctoral Associate will support programming; conduct original research, includingmeta-analytic reviews and the design of studies, as well as the collection,analysis, and interpretation of data;
prepare scientific manuscripts for publication; and present research findings at professional conferences. The Post-Doctoral Associate will also have opportunities to receive training in asocial cognition laboratory and collaborate with STE[A]M faculty across Rutgers University-Newark. Additional responsibilities may include mentoring and collaborating with graduate and undergraduate student researchers.

D. in psychology, sociology, education or a related field.
