Role Overview

The Retail Assistant Store Manager at Vuori works alongside the Retail Store Manager to lead the retail sales team. The primary goal is to forge connections with customers while communicating Vuori’s brand values through insightful product knowledge and a positive, optimistic outlook. This role also encourages the team to maintain Vuori’s standards in retail sales and customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create an unforgettable customer experience – Work with the sales team to ensure each customer receives the best experience possible, take ownership of the sales floor, prepare fitting rooms, and provide honest, knowledgeable feedback on merchandise style and fit.
  • Build lasting relationships with customers – Engage customers about product details, new releases, and rendezvous, and invite them to upcoming events.
  • Lead the business when the Store Manager is away – Motivate the sales team, achieve sales goals in a commission environment, and stay current on industry and active‑wear trends.
  • Assist with inventory – Communicate inventory needs, support the Store Inventory Lead with product shipments, and manage manual restocks and cycle counts.
  • Communicate daily operations – Work on daily maintenance, restocking, visual merchandising, cleaning, and closing/opening protocols.
  • Support the store’s back‑room and display systems – Keep bins organized, refresh Aloha displays, and manage mannequin setups.
Who you are
  • Available for 8‑hour shifts, 5 days a week, with at least one weekend day.
  • Strong punctuality, attendance, and leadership skills.
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capacity to prioritize tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Fast learner who quickly grasps new procedures and processes.
  • Strong organizational and follow‑through skills.
  • High level of ownership, accountability, and initiative.
  • Eager to develop new skills and receptive to feedback.
