Position Overview
In-Home Sales & Tech Support (Part Time). This is a local, in-home field role requiring daily travel to customer residences – not Remote.
Schedule and Hours- Part‑time role with afternoon and evening availability.
- Standard 5‑day schedule: 4:05 PM–9:00 PM (end time may vary based on customer needs).
- Flexible 4+ day schedule (if available): 25 hours per week across at least four days, one of which must be a weekend (Saturday or Sunday). Shifts run between 12:05 PM and 9:00 PM.
- Availability in the market is essential for this role.
- Meet customers in‑home, in‑office, or at other locations to deliver the Serve, Solve, Sell™ approach.
- Provide exceptional customer service and prioritize the customer throughout the interaction.
- Troubleshoot and resolve customers' tech issues, offering clear solutions regardless of the customer's technical knowledge.
- Use the company product range to offer tailored solutions that address future tech needs.
- Apply strong negotiation and communication skills to close sales and achieve targets.
- Participate in ongoing coaching and mentoring to grow confidence and technical expertise.
- Comfortable working in a sales environment with set targets.
- Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record with at least one year of driving experience.
- Proof of valid car insurance (motorcycles not accepted); personal vehicle required (excluding Manhattan).
- Personal cellphone for job communications.
- Ability to travel up to 120 miles one‑way to customer appointments.
- Comfortable working around household pets.
- Efficient, adaptable, goal‑oriented, persuasive communication skills.
- Open‑minded with a passion for learning new skills across a variety of career paths.
- Outgoing individual who thrives in human interaction.
- Base hourly rate: $25.85.
- Mileage reimbursement paid weekly (IRS guidelines).
- Phone stipend: $35 paid monthly.
- Uncapped commissions based on sales performance paid bi‑weekly.
- Paid training (3 weeks) with access to early pay.
