Client is seeking a high-performing Hunter profile to drive new business growth within the Med Tech and Medical Devices ecosystem across the Midwest region, with a strong preference for candidates based near key Med Tech customer clusters in Indiana. The ideal candidate will possess a strong track record of opening new logos, building strategic client relationships, and driving engineering services revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities- Identify, target, and acquire new customers within the Medical Devices / Med Tech ecosystem.
- Drive end-to-end business development activities including prospecting, solution positioning, negotiations, and closure.
- Build and execute strategic account penetration plans across Midwest territories.
- Collaborate with delivery, solutioning, and practice teams to develop customized engineering services proposals.
- Develop strong CXO-level and engineering leadership relationships within target accounts.
- Maintain healthy sales pipeline and achieve annual revenue quota of approximately $3M–$5M.
- Track market trends, competitive intelligence, and emerging opportunities within Med Tech engineering services.
Required Qualifications
- 8–15 years of experience in sales/business development within Engineering Services or ER&D services.
- Strong hunting capability with proven success in new logo acquisition.
- Prior experience selling into Medical Devices / Med Tech clients is mandatory.
- Strong understanding of engineering services, product engineering, digital engineering, or embedded systems offerings.
- Existing relationships within Midwest Med Tech customer ecosystem preferred.
- Ability to travel extensively within assigned territory.
- Candidate located in Indiana or near major Med Tech customer hubs in the Midwest.
- Experience working with global engineering services organizations.
- Strong consultative selling and executive stakeholder management skills.
