• Prepare the store for daily business (opening and closing).
• Assist customers (in person or on the phone) with purchases and questions.
• Maintain records of all sales promotions, inform customers of current promotions and specials.
• Quote and produce estimates for customers.
• Takes special orders and follows up with customers.
• Schedule deliveries with customers and shipping department.
• Handle all job responsibilities to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Develop and increase sales revenue to meet assigned targets/goals.
• Maintain store stock to desired level.
• Write transfers to other locations when requested.
• Assist with inventory.
• Other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.

• Previous lumber or building supplies experience strongly desired.
• Work experience of at least one year in sales, sales support, or customer service preferred.
• Excellent communication skills required.
• Experience using various third‑party building supplier system applications desired.

• The position is located in a store and could involve sitting, standing, walking, reaching and lifting for long periods of time throughout the day.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

$19 - $25 per hour
