Business Development Officer - Small Business Banker

Permanent, full-time, direct-hire W2 role with our client: base salary + full benefits + uncapped commission (including a guaranteed non-recoverable draw for the first 12 months) + residuals.

• Sell Clover, a cloud-based point‑of‑sale platform, to SMBs in the assigned territory.
• Manage a territory with dozens of partner bank branches, building relationships with business bankers to generate referrals and close deals.
• Conduct on‑site product demos and presentations at client businesses.
• Own the full sales cycle—prospecting, self‑sourcing leads, generating referrals, closing deals—and achieve quota/KPI targets.
• Turn around underperforming accounts and grow assigned territory through strong outside sales execution.
• Build lasting client and partner relationships, identify challenges early, and provide proactive solutions that drive growth and retention.

• Proven outside sales experience with demonstrated quota attainment.
• Ability to work with provided leads, build own pipeline, and close deals.
• Strong communication skills, self‑starter mindset, and results‑oriented.
• Experience as a Business Banker / Commercial Relationship Banker/Manager with SMB clients is preferred.
